{August 6-8}

My mom and I flew to Oregon for the weekend to visit our old stomping grounds,

see my grandparents, and attend my cousin Katy's fabulous wedding.

I was just a little excited to have a weekend getaway.

Amazing. I think my mom described it best to my dad on the phone. "Imagine Paris Hilton's wedding." So true. There were even little chiuauas dressed in a tux and dress walking down the aisle...sorry no pics.

Everything was so beautiful.

Mom and I were exhausted, so we decided to say our goodbyes early

 and head back to Portland that night to catch our flights.

Sure glad the feeling was mutual...

and grateful the house was still intact.

*actually it was a whole lot cleaner than i left it...i swear shawn is a better homemaker...so frustrating. :)
